Parmida is a physiotherapist with a background in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Master of Sport and Exercise Medicine and enjoys working with people recovering from injury and returning to sport and physical activity.
Parmida has a particular interest in treating lower limb conditions such as hip, knee, and ankle injuries, as well as lower back pain. She enjoys helping patients recover from injury and supporting them to return to the activities that are important to them.
Her treatment approach focuses on understanding the underlying cause of a problem and developing a clear rehabilitation plan. Parmida combines hands-on physiotherapy with targeted exercise programs to improve strength, movement, and confidence. She is particularly interested in biomechanics, balance, and movement control, which play an important role in both injury prevention and recovery.
Having grown up figure skating, Parmida understands the physical demands that sport and activity can place on the body. This experience shaped her interest in rehabilitation, coordination, and helping people return safely to sport and activity after injury.
Parmida focuses on providing clear diagnoses and practical treatment plans that help patients understand their injury and feel confident in their recovery. She values building strong relationships with her patients and creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and being actively involved in their rehabilitation.
Outside of work Parmida enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. Having grown up figure skating, she still enjoys activities that challenge balance, coordination, and movement.
